Arugula, grows literally everywhere.

Rhubarb, a great plant with giant leaves. I made a strawberry-rhubarb-crumble of it, delicious!

                                     

My Quince tree, planted 2 years ago. Last year we had 2 quinces and look at it now, amazing how fast it becomes a real tree. Even if only half of the flowers turn into quinces I can cook Dulce de Membrillo for my entire family.....!

Yesterday we found a little bird's nest under the bushes, if you look close you can see their tiny beak, so cute!

The parents are flying in and out all day long to feed them, for the moment we've banished ourselves from the balcony....

Yessss.... the peas and broad beans, growing as if the weather wasn't terrible during the last few weeks!

Vertical garden made of recycled PET-bottles. Part of a project by Brazilian design studio Rosenbaum, to re-design the houses of families in need in order to improve their lives an self-esteem. This arrangement is suitable for vegetables that don't take a lot of space to grow, like spices and herbs.

Parsley, coming up slowly and new bay leaves, the old one didn't survive the winter......
